Patrick Tresset
FR

Patrick Tresset is a French artist and scientist who researches computational creativity, art, and our relations with robots. He lives and works in London.
Tresset first got a business computer science diploma, and then moved to London, where he started to paint. In 1991-2003 his works were presented at many individual and collective exhibitions in London and Paris. Since 2003, he has been working on computational and robotic systems that simulate art activity.
Tresset graduated from Goldsmiths University in London, where he studied Sciences in Arts Computing. Together with Professor Frederic Fol Leymarie, he ran the AikonII project, in which they did research on observational sketching through computational modelling and robotics.
Patrick Tresset has also created a creative robotics curriculum for the students of postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths University in the Computational Arts course.
