Aga Szuścik

Aga Szuścik is a PhD student at the Łódź Film School, a graduate of the Łódź Film School’s Department of Cinematography (major: Photography) and Social Communication at the Polish Philology Department of the University of Silesia in Katowice. She lectures at the Academy of Photography, and regularly runs workshops for Photomonth in Krakow. She is a visual artist, photographer, filmmaker, graphic designer, editor, color corrector, curator, and writer. She specializes in the post-production of photography and film, and makes short films and work that verges on photography and other fields of art. Aga Szuścik’s work has been displayed at individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Camerimage in Łódź, KinoLAB in the Warsaw CCA, the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia, Dwa Brzegi Festival in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula River, the Atlas’s Belly and Discovered Spaces exhibitions in Łódź, the IBiRinT festival in Frankfurt/Oder, the Alla Fiera dell’Est festival in Italy, and TVP Kultura. Aga also organizes music events that promote non-mainstream electronic music. She has been organizing DJland, a non-profit music charity festival, for seven years.
